My Problem-Solving Framework

Understanding: I interview you to understand your scenario.
Analysis: I break down the problem and weigh potential solutions.
Solution: I pick my favorite solution and create a strategy to solve the problem.
Execution: I either implement the solution myself or guide you through it.

[Manufacturing] “I’d like to understand why our oven overheats at night.”
[Education] “We need a secure, user-friendly portal for remote learning. Can you help?”
[Education] “What are some low-cost and engaging language learning methods?”
[SaaS] “Our backend is struggling to scale with user growth. What are our options?”
[Small Business Owner] “How can we automate our inventory tracking without expensive software?”
[Small Business Owner] “What’s the easiest/cheapest way for us to build an online store?”
[Small Business Owner] “I routinely have to edit boring reports. How could this be simplified to save me time?”
[Small Business Owner] “We have a large amount of old data stored in CSV files. How can we analyze this data with a cloud-based report system?”
[General] “We’re drowning in data but have no insights. Can you build us a dashboard?”
[Busy Executive] “What’s the best phone for me?”
[Busy Executive] “Can any of my repetitive tasks be automated?”

I would then run each of these questions through my problem-solving framework and develop solutions for them.
